CHOOSE YOUR PANORAMIC VIEWER

Here you have a choice of two competing panoramic viewers to view the Unkar Delta.   Please read before you begin and then choose a method to view the image.

Both viewers offer the same capabilities when viewing the image.

Both the Smoothmove and Live Picture formatted files were created using the Panorama software package from VideoBrush Corporation.  It allows the creation of panorama images from a video pan.

Smoothmove The Smoothmove technology (from Infinite Pictures, Inc) requires you to download a large plug-in (around 386k) before you begin to view the image.  The technology has been around longer and there are many Web sites that have included Smoothmove panoramic images.  I got my plug-in  from the Smoothmove site.

Live Picture Live Picture has a Java Applet implementation of the viewer.  The applet is smaller than the Smoothmove plug-in and the download (about 30k) happens automatically the first time that you want to view an image within a browser session.

Both Infinite Pictures and Live Picture Corporation have standalone viewers that you can also download and they are FREE!
